About This Game "Life is like a waiting room, except people don't leave in the order they enter."So when it is time to leave, where will it be? And will you be able to smile in the end?Narcissu is a thought provoking visual novel series about terminal illness, living, dying, and the relationship between those leaving and those left behind. There are no miracles, no heroes, no villains in this story. Just life and the characters finding their own ways of facing death in an indifferent, relentless, ever-impartial reality.Praised by fans for its moving story and high production quality, the original games have been download over a million times and spawned a manga and light novel, and has been localized in several languages across the world. This anthology finally brings the games that were never released outside of Japan in any form to the world for eager fans, as well as updating artwork, voice work, and a brand new written chapter exclusive to this anthology: "Sumire".Further breaking new grounds, this anthology builds on the massively popular music which has captured the hearts of thousands of Narcissu fans by adding 2 video game legends to the musical roster: Chris Huelsbeck of Turrican fame, and Hiroki Kikuta of Secret of Mana fame. The story is told in 5 games and produced through a successful Kickstarter campaign. The original games (Narcissu 1st&2nd) of the series are available for free on Steam. This anthology series will contain an additional 4 scenarios in the series. The core of this anthology are the following included games: Narcissu - The story that started it all. Two terminally ill patients meet on the 7th floor hospice. Neither like the 7th floor, nor their own homes. And so they set off on a journey. Narcissu 2 - A prequel to the original, telling the story of a patient named Himeko through Setsumi's eyes. Narcissu 2 - Himeko's Epilogue, details the final moments of Himeko's story. These stand-alone chapters are available as DLC:] Narcissu: A Little Iris - A side story set in medieval Europe, exploring what it means to desire to live, or die. Narcissu: Zero - The origin story of the 7th floor hospice and its rules. Narcissu: Sumire - An entirely new chapter in the series, it tells the tale of two girls who cross paths: one dying and the other desiring death, both filled with profound regrets about their respective lives. 6d5b4406ea Title: Narcissu 10th Anniversary Anthology ProjectGenre: Casual, IndieDeveloper:stage-nanaPublisher:Sekai ProjectRelease Date: 27 Jan, 2016 Narcissu 10th Anniversary Anthology Project Download] [Crack Serial Key himeko's epilouge was great. 10/10 will feels again.looking forward to the DLC. Very nice anime game just like your average $10 anime games you see on steam but this game sells for alot cheaper and has beautiful backgrounds with kawaii anime girls the story shows is alright but it doesn't show to much manly uses same images but the art is amazing :P. I recommend this for the dlc (on sale, normal price is kinda high), but the base game is actually worse than the free version which you can find on Steam. This version is just narcissu 1&2 in a worse engine with less options. Grab the free version, you won't regret it. http://store.steampowered.com/app/264380/Narcissu_1st__2nd/. Great Game even if the stories you want are DLC i still cant help but cry and feel for the characters, the story is well thought out really great, Soundtrack goes really well witht he story, Sadly Dlc is a little too over priced for my liking but the sales for the dlcs really got me to get them. Wanted to get all of the DLC before I did a proper review of this as I didn't feel like it'd do justice to what is essentially my first Visual Novel. Going to break this up into a few parts: 1st and 2nd which is the original slice, A Little Iris which is a separate tale entirely, then the rest of the DLC which builds upon the main. Originally backed it through Greenlight, I was interested in seeing what they were all about. There may be some spoilers, be warned. Also, while I personally recommend you get the entire set to fully know the story, I can assure that the tale does stand on it's own, although a bit shaky. More on that later.Narcissu 1st and 2nd SideWelcome to the 7th floor, a sterile place designed for comfortable living. Here we find out a resident who's mystery lies in her zoned-out state. With cryptic messages like "Is it your third time?" to "Go not to Station A, but Station B" the place isn't all happy and cheery.Overall, I would say this is a somewhat boring and slow narrative with some nice set pieces. Since this is a kinetic novel, there's not much in the way of animation and instead does widescreen panels. The dark tone definitely adds weight to the already harsh theme of the entire series which I loved. The art is nothing particularly amazing, especially when it comes to the characters. It does work for adding a depressive air and mystery surrounding your journey of what's so strange about the 7th floor. Not an easy read, can be a bit of a chore to muck through as it does tend to run over itself more than necessary.A Little IrisEngland, 1600s or so.A princess that found herself in an arranged marriage suddenly finds herself fighting to survive as she's hunted by the winner of the War.It holds the same tone that the rest of Narcissu has to offer and the music is just as good. One of the more unique ideas of this is the change in time and location. Apart from that, there was nothing really special about this that stuck with me. The characters are somewhat binary and don't really grow, but this is more of a break than part of the main story. To that, I say it could have been worse. Definitely appreciated, honestly wouldn't have minded if this was a separate VN or even removed entirely.Sumire, Zero, Himenko's EpilogueGoing to be honest, Sumire confused the hell out of me for the first couple hours until it finally connected. How it introduces you to the character and the backstory is a strange idea yet I can't say I wasn't surprised. This was my favorite DLC once I got through it and found myself wanting to know more about Sleeping Girl.As for Zero, this dragged on a little too long. Being the backstory to 1st and 2nd, you finally find out more about the creation of the 7th floor, the Rules, and even the people you meet along the way. A little bit more cheerful, it kind of falls flat when it tries to transition between charming and serious.Himenko's Epilogue, I don't know if this was part of the main story or a DLC (probably main since I don't see it elsewhere), ties Zero and I believe 2nd Side in the journey of the Red Corvette. This was a very nice change of pace with it's more upbeat tones from the crushing darkness that is the entirety of Narcissu's story.Art for all of the above are pretty standard with backround pieces mostly taking the spotlight. Music is very wonderful and I believe is the strength of this Visual Novel with story just slightly behind. If you're unsure if you'd like these type of games, give the demo a try. Not really a beginner-friendly novel, I definitely would consider this a classic among the pile.. 10/10 For sad stories addiction Narcissu Zero now available for purchase!: The next chapter of the anthology is now available for purchase in the store! Season Pass holders and Kickstarter backers already have had their installations updated with the new chapter. This leaves the final chapter, "Sumire" to be released later this year. There have also been major updates to the chapter launcher and file structure to prepare for future updates and releases. Users should experience no visible changes, but very rarely, users who changed their language settings may experience broken save files from the restructuring. Please contact support if that happens to you.. Narcissu: Sumire released!: Hi Narcissu fans! We're super proud to announce that the latest chapter of the Narcissu series, "Sumire" has been released! This time, follow the story of two heroines in a story about terminal illness, past mistakes, and deep, deep regrets. http://store.steampowered.com/app/608420. Small OST update: Hi guys,We've pushed out a small update to the OST today: Track 2, Disc1 of the soundtrack has been renamed and moved to Disc2 Track26- dear friend (short ver.). Its original spot, Disc1, Track02 is now the full-length version of the same song. ReplayGain tags were also updated across the OST to reflect the change. The story behind this was the raw WAV version of the file had never been obtained from the music house during production, only a downsampled mp3 version for reference use had been availbleThe game uses the short version in-game so no one really noticed that the incorrect version was in the WAV archives that were then used to build the OST release.Much later on, a few users brought the issue to our attention, and we first had to confirm that a full version existed, then we had to go track down the original data. It took a while but we found it, hence this update.. Anthology Soundtrack Released!: The long wait is over! The full soundtrack of the game is now available as DLC! Season pass holders will already have access to the soundtrack. Enjoy!!http://store.steampowered.com/app/627310/Narcissu_10th_Anniversary_Soundtrack/. Minor bugfixes and OST tweak: A couple of minor updates were released lately, 1) A handful of formatting errors in the script were corrected 2) The OST's Disc 2, Track 06 "Liason" has been upgraded to the full length song instead of the short version. Enjoy!
